From 19th to 21st February 2020, CRRC ZELC Verkehrstechnik participated in the 9th International Railway Summit in Warsaw, Poland.
The Summit is a major event in the railway sector held every year, where manufacturers, operators and related organizations gather to discuss current challenges and future trends of the railway sector. This year´s programme involves the topic of digital transformation, governance of modern multimodal transport systems, cross-border harmonization, intercontinental freight, environmental sustainability, and cyber security.
Speakers include key representatives from high-level organizations including the European Commission EC, International Union of Railways UIC, Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies CER, European Rail Industry Association UNIFE, French National Railway Company SNCF, Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB, European Investment Bank EIB, and the European Passengers Federation.
The conference programme also includes pre-arranged one-to-one consultation meetings based on matchmaking between buyers´ project requirements and experts´ capability. Our company enjoyed the useful conversations and high-level networking opportunities with potential partners and customers across Europe.
CRRC ZELC Verkehrstechnik delegates participating in technical site visits at C08 Płocka metro station on Warsaw´s new metro line 2. The station is under construction and in its final stage of inspection.
The event was attended by various rail operators including Deutsche Bahn DB, PKP SKM, Prague Transport, Czech Railways, Trenitalia, Warsaw Metro, Swiss Federal Railways, Leo Express, and Romanian National Railways CFR Calatori.
