The 7th Railway Forum Berlin hosted by Deutsche Bahn DB and IPM took place from September 7-8, 2021 in Berlin, Germany. This year´s topic revolved around digitization and automation, sustainability, global value creation, and the expansion of the railway system. We are honored to have been chosen to participate in the opening exhibition tour with Deutsche Bahn and to have the opportunity to share with the DB our most exciting projects and innovations at our booth.
The hybrid event was attended by more than 1,400 decision-makers and experts from the whole railway industry, consisting of operators, manufacturers and suppliers at all tier levels, enabling productive discussions covering the entire supply chain. Speakers at the conference included key representatives of Deutsche Bahn DB, Siemens Mobility, Thales, Alstom, SKF, ÖBB, and our sister company Vossloh Locomotives.
More than 140 exhibitors from around the globe have participated in the exhibition, presenting innovative solutions for the future of the railway industry. We successfully exhibited our electric multi-system locomotive platform model “Bison” and a model of the “Sirius” EMU of our latest project with the Czech operator Leo Express. The two shunting locomotives – the Berlin “AZ Lok” and the Hamburg “Kleinstlok HH” – for Deutsche Bahn DB have attracted special attention from our viewers.
CRRC ZELC EUROPE was able to conduct insightful discussions and to form relationships with numerous potential partners.
