On June 14th, the “11th Dragon Boat Race” was held on the banks of the Danube River in Korneuburg, Austria. The event was jointly organized by the Austrian Dragon Boat Association and the Austria-China Science and Technology Cultural Exchange Association. CRRC ZELC Europe actively participates in this race for consecutive years, showing great courage and achieving remarkable results.
Chinese Ambassador to Austria, Qi Mei, District Mayor of Korneuburg, Mr. Christian Gepp,
and represensative of the venue attended the event and delivered welcoming speeches.
A total of 21 teams from Austria and neighboring countries participated in the competition, as well as a professional team from Suzhou, China.
Beyond the race, the event was filled with the rhythm of Chinese cultural performances, joyful cheers and lasting connections between people and cultures. 🤝✨
